SIGN UP TO JOIN US AT LABORFEST Every year, members from the APWU Milwaukee Area Local join with other union members to put on one of the biggest Labor Day celebrations in the country. Best thing: It's free and open to the public! Please join the Milwaukee Area Local as we march to Laborfest through the streets of Downtown Milwaukee. The parade begins at Zeidler Park (two blocks from the union hall) and ends at the Summerfest Grounds. Laborfest includes picnic areas, live music, children's entertainment, bingo, pro- wrestling, a classic car show, and a union raffle with a grand prize of $5,000.00. The APWU will supply free T-shirts and food/beverage cards to each member and any guest(s) that march in the parade to the Summerfest Grounds. MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2025 | Schedule: • 9am: Meet at APWU Union Hall (417 N. 3rd Street, Milwaukee, WI 53203) • 11am: Parade leaves Zeidler Park • 11am–5pm: Laborfest on Summerfest Grounds If you are interested in joining us at Laborfest, click here to register or call the union hall at (414) 273-7838. General Membership Meetings Schedule Membership meetings are held monthly (with the exceptions of June, July, August and December) at the Union Hall, 417 N. 3rd Street, Milwaukee, WI, 53203 (Across the street from the main office downtown.) Read the monthly minutes that are posted on your APWU boards or that are mailed to your office for dates and times of meetings. APWU General Membership Meetings are held at the Union Hall in the months of January, February, March, April, May, June, September, October and November. There are no meetings in June, July, August and December. Meetings rotate times and days of the week as follows: Mondays between 4 and 6 pm. Wednesdays, between 9 and 11 pm; and, Fridays between 6 and 8 am. We provide food and beverages at every meeting. ONLY APWU members are welcome at General Membership Meetings.
